The Rocket City Trash Pandas are seeking a Promotions and Community Relations intern to join the most meteoric team in Minor League Baseball and help create the best fan experience in the sport for the 2025 season!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the execution of the Trash Pandas kids club (promotion, registration, fulfillment of membership benefits, monthly newsletter)
- Assist in fulfilling all donation requests in a timely manner and update donation inventory
- Assist in scheduling for ballpark tours
- Oversee the Community Relations table for all home games for the 2026 season
- Assist with in-game auctions and fundraisers benefitting the Trash Pandas Foundation
- Assist in coordinating youth baseball camps
- Will work at Guest Services assisting fans and clients
- Be a flexible team player ready to wear many different hats
- Be available as a mascot handler or mascot for games and community events
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to work flexible and demanding hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and ability to take initiative with projects and events
- Have exceptional customer service and be a committed team player
- Willingness to wear a mascot costume
