About the Internship:
MetLife Stadium — home of the New York Giants and New York Jets — is offering an immersive Event Operations Internship for the Fall 2025 semester. This unpaid position is ideal for college juniors or seniors (as of September 2025) or post-graduate students interested in sports and entertainment operations.
Internship Dates:
September 2025 through the end of the NFL season
(2 days per week + scheduled stadium events)
What You’ll Learn:
This internship will provide hands-on experience with large-scale event planning and execution at a world-class venue. Interns will gain valuable insight into:
- Real-time decision-making, rapid communication, and operations coordination
- The detailed planning and logistics involved in staging major events
- Collaboration with multiple departments to ensure event-day success
- Balancing event execution with ongoing building operations and maintenance
- Pre-event preparation and post-event debriefing procedures
Responsibilities:
Interns will work closely with the Event Operations Team and interact with a variety of internal departments. Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Assist with pre- and post-event setup and breakdown
- Collaborate with departments such as Ticketing, Guest Services, Fleet Operations, Site Operations, Field Operations, and Warehouse
- Support sponsor activations, promotions, and in-event logistics
- Shadow staff on event days to understand operational workflows
- Learn how event plans are developed, implemented, and reviewed
- Observe vendor/contractor coordination during live events
- Assist with general administrative and event-related tasks as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Currently enrolled undergraduate junior/senior (as of September 2025) or post-graduate student
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communication skills (verbal and written)
- Prior experience in a professional setting preferred
- Interest in sports, live events, or facility operations
- Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
- Willingness to follow stadium policies and procedures
Schedule:
This internship includes weekday office hours (2 days/week) plus stadium events, which may occur on evenings, weekends, and holidays. A work schedule will be shared at least one week in advance.

- We offer feedback, evaluations, and weekly progress reports as required by academic programs
