The Chicago White Sox are seeking a motivated and energetic Marketing Intern to join our team for the 2026 season (January - October). This seasonal role is designed for recent college graduates who are eager to gain hands-on experience in sports marketing while supporting a wide variety of fan-facing initiatives.
As a Marketing Intern, you’ll receive a well-rounded introduction to all facets of sports marketing, from theme night promotions to community engagement, while playing a key role in creating memorable experiences for White Sox fans.
Qualifications
Recent graduate with an interest in sports marketing or related field
Strong customer service skills and a passion for curating great fan experiences
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A natural leader who thrives in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
Ability to work a flexible schedule with mandatory evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the season
Responsibilities
Support external brand activations and serve as a leader for off-site event staff; Including planning brand activations at Chicagoland events, scheduling staff, on-site management, event set-up and tear-down, and post-event recaps
Support all youth marketing programs, including but not limited to the Kids Zone, Kids Club, and First Game Certificate experiences
Serve as direct contact for all F&B influencer experiences
Partner with the retail team on merchandise collabs and in-park marketing efforts
Provide mascot assistance and support with social media content opportunities
Assist with theme night and gate activations, ensuring smooth set-up and fan engagement
Compensation:
$18.00/hour
