FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1. Why does it cost to access the Internship Job Board? We have our technology working around the clock to gather and review available sports internships to share with you - this can be quite costly to maintain. Then we check every listing by hand (yes a real person!). The fee allows us to bring you the best experience possible.
2. What if I want to cancel? No problem - you’re in control! You can cancel your subscription anytime in your account dashboard.
You’ll still have full access to the job board for the remainder of the month you’ve already paid for. Because the product is digital and access is delivered instantly, we’re unable to offer refunds for completed billing periods.
If you ever believe you were charged in error, please contact us at hello@thesportsintern.com for a quick resolution. Filing a chargeback slows the process and may delay your access.
3. I see a duplicate internship listed. Occasionally, the same internship gets listed more than once, especially if it's posted across multiple sites. We do our best to catch and clean up duplicates during our review process, but now and then one slips through. If you spot a duplicate, feel free to let us know at hello@thesportsintern.com. We appreciate the extra set of eyes!
4. Can't I find these internships elsewhere? Yes, you definitely could search the internet looking for sports internships - we were doing the same thing! What we found is that there wasn’t a single, comprehensive place focused exclusively on sports internships, bringing the best opportunities together in one spot.
While major platforms like TeamWork Online are industry leaders, many organizations post their internships only on their own internal HR or recruiting sites, meaning you’d only find them if you already knew exactly where to look. TSI often features harder-to-find roles, including opportunities that aren’t listed on the big job boards at all.
Plus, part of our mission is to spotlight organizations, departments, and areas of the sports industry that students might not even realize offer internships. We do the digging so you can discover more pathways, and get your application in early in a competitive industry.
5. How often is the board updated? Near daily! Our technology works round the clock to keep us updated on new sports internship opportunities. Then we conduct a secondary, additional human check over the results to categorize, update, and review listings before they get to you. Expect updates every weekday (Monday through Friday) and occasional weekend (Saturday/Sunday) updates (organizations don't post internships as often on weekends).
6. Where are these internships located? We are based in the United States. So the majority of our jobs are Stateside, but we do occasionally include other sports internships from around the world to enhance the experience for our job seekers. You can filter results by location.
7. Some of the internships are highlighted in yellow, what does that mean?
Highlighted internships appear with a yellow background to help them stand out. These listings are featured by the employer to catch your attention. They’re often urgent, high-priority, or premium opportunities. Keep an eye on them if you're actively looking!
