About Grand Forks Spitfires
Grand Forks will be home to a Northwoods League Softball (NWLS) team beginning in the 2026 season, bringing high-level summer collegiate softball to the region. The team will compete at Albrecht Field on the campus of the University of North Dakota, providing top college softball players from across North America with an opportunity to develop their skills in a competitive environment while delivering high-energy entertainment for fans.
The Position
We’re looking for a driven, organized, and people-focused team member to support our ticket sales efforts for our new summer collegiate softball team in Grand Forks. This part-time role is perfect for someone who loves connecting with the community, setting meetings, and helping fans find the right ticket experience. Your focus will be on scheduling sales appointments, selling mini game plans, and answering inbound calls from fans looking for information or to make a purchase. You’ll play an important role in helping fans get excited about joining us at the ballpark and making sure their first interaction with our team is a great one.
RESPONSIBILITIES (February 1st - MAY 18th)
- Outreach via telephone, email and in person to qualified sales leads to generate ticket sales revenue through season ticket, mini plans, and group outings
- Make 40-80 calls to individuals and organizations on a daily basis
- Maintains detailed records of clients and prospects in the CRM system
- Maintain detailed sales reports
- Prospect, call, and set meetings with Civic Group leads
- Attend Sales and Marketing Team Meetings
- Assist sales and marketing team with requests
HOURS
- Required Hours: 18 Hours Total, Monday through Friday
- Flexible Schedule between 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
COMPENSATION
- $500 per month
- Commission on all outbound sales
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be present in the office for a minimum of 18 hours per week on a flexible schedule
- Must be a college student looking for a field related degree (sports management, business, marketing, communications)
