We’re Hiring Interns for the 2027 Grand Rapids Rise Season!

The Grand Rapids Rise are looking for passionate individuals to join our front office team for the upcoming 2027 season. These internship opportunities will work closely with our Marketing and Ticketing Departments, providing hands-on experience in Major League Volleyball.

We’re looking to fill the following positions:

Media Relations Intern
- Assist with writing pre and post match stories/tracking stats, updating the digital media guide, setting up post-game press conference, coordinating match day media.

Public Relations Intern
- Join marketing touch base meetings for match and ticket campaign planning, assist social media manager with real time posts and content during games, Assist with graphic design projects, and promotional materials.

Ticket Fulfillment Intern — 3 positions
- Help deliver memorable experiences for fans, season ticket holders, and groups. This role will assist with ticket sales fulfillment, pre-match event preparation, giveaways, and group experiences. Its a hands on position that combines behind-the-scenes preparation with interacting directly with fans during matches.

Game Presentation Intern — 2 positions
- Support the floor management and execution of live game presentation elements. Help keep the show moving, get fans where they need to be, and make sure giveaways are in the right place. You'll coordinate the many moving pieces that happen on the court and throughout the arena.

ABOUT THE GRAND RAPIDS RISE

The Grand Rapids Rise made their debut in January 2024 and are preparing for their fourth season as members of Major League Volleyball. President and GM Cathy George served as head coach of the Rise for their first three seasons, leading them to the championship match in 2024, and she now presides over a franchise that ranks among the top U.S. women’s pro volleyball teams in attendance. The team is operated by DP Fox Sports and owned by Dan DeVos, who is also majority owner and CEO of the American Hockey League’s Grand Rapids Griffins and minority owner of Athletic Club Grand Rapids, which will begin play in MLS NEXT Pro in 2027.
