The New Jersey Jackals are a professional baseball team based at Hinchliffe Stadium in Paterson, NJ, and the 2026 division champions. The Jackals now play in the National Association of Professional Baseball (formerly known as the Frontier League). We are dedicated to delivering an exciting, memorable experience on and off the field, with a strong commitment to community engagement and family-friendly entertainment. We're looking for enthusiastic, driven, creative interns to gain hands-on experience in the sports industry.

The Jackals are seeking a motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our Creative and Marketing team. This internship is ideal for Graphic Design, Web Design, or Fine Arts students interested in visual storytelling, branding, and digital design.

About the Role
The Jackals are seeking a motivated Graphic Design Intern to join our Creative and Marketing team. This internship is ideal for Graphic Design, Web Design, or Fine Arts students interested in visual storytelling, branding, and digital design.
What You'll Gain Experience In
- Creating graphic assets for game-day promotions, social media, website updates, merchandise, and in-stadium displays
- Applying the Jackals brand identity and guidelines across digital, print, and ballpark signage
- Designing for live events, including game-day graphics, promotions, and fan experiences
- Preparing mockups, presentations, and creative materials for internal use and external promotions
- Brainstorming promotional nights, themed events, and seasonal campaigns
- Working within a collaborative marketing and creative team in professional baseball
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.)
- Access to Adobe Creative Suite software and personal design equipment (laptop/tablet)
- Strong visual design skills, with attention to detail, color, and layout
- Basic understanding of branding principles and digital asset management
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, game-driven environment
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Availability for evenings and weekends for games and events as needed
- Passion for baseball, sports marketing, and fan experience
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with motion graphics, video editing, or scoreboard/LED content design
- Experience with web design principles or UI/UX design
- Experience with Canva, Shopify, or similar platforms
- Interest in sports branding, promotions, and live event production
