The New Jersey Jackals are a professional baseball team based at Hinchliffe Stadium in Paterson, NJ, and the 2026 division champions. The Jackals now play in the National Association of Professional Baseball (formerly known as the Frontier League). We are dedicated to delivering an exciting, memorable experience on and off the field, with a strong commitment to community engagement and family-friendly entertainment. We're looking for enthusiastic, driven, creative interns to gain hands-on experience in the sports industry.
About the Role
The Jackals are seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Social Media Intern to support the team's day-to-day social media.

The Jackals are seeking a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Social Media Intern to support the team's day-to-day social media.
What You'll Gain Experience In
- Publishing and scheduling content across Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Supporting weekly and monthly content calendars
- Writing clear, on-brand captions and short-form copy
- Live content coverage during games, batting practice, and team events
- Community management: monitoring comments, messages, and mentions and engaging with fans
- Supporting campaign launches, promotional nights, and storytelling initiatives
- Collaborating with photographers, videographers, players, and front office staff
- Organizing digital assets and basic social analytics reporting
- Formatting photos and video, building carousels, stories, and short-form video, and supporting recurring series such as game-day graphics and player features
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Sports Management, or a related field
- Strong understanding of TikTok, major social platforms, and digital trends
- Clear writing skills with strong attention to detail
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple deadlines
- Comfortable working nights and weekends as required for games and events
- Passion for baseball, fan engagement, and community involvement
