The Internship Position
- Film and produce engaging video content for the Minot Hot Tots and Minot Honeybees, including game highlights, promotional videos, player features, behind-the-scenes content, and social media videos.
- Capture game-day footage featuring on-field action, fan experiences, in-game promotions, ballpark entertainment, and other memorable moments.
- Edit short-form and long-form video content for use across social media, team websites, videoboard entertainment, and other marketing platforms.
- Assist the Marketing & Media Manager with video production needs related to ticket sales, sponsorship activation, merchandise marketing, and promotional campaigns.
- Operate a camera during Hot Tots and Honeybees home game broadcasts as assigned.
- Develop creative video concepts and contribute ideas for social media campaigns, team promotions, and digital storytelling.
- Attend weekly marketing meetings and collaborate with the Marketing & Media Team on content planning and execution.
- Film and edit content for team sponsor activations, community appearances, special events, and other organizational initiatives.
- Organize and maintain video footage, project files, and digital assets for efficient use throughout the season.
- Assist with creating content for the Hot Tots and Honeybees' social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Represent the organization professionally at sponsor promotions, community events, and team activities.
Office Responsibilities
- Design creative materials for all departments including sponsorship, marketing, ticket sales, and events.
- Create, plan, and execute video board graphics and motion graphics on the brand-new state-of-the-art video board (could include, but is not limited to: lineups, sponsor graphics, fan engagement, etc.)
- Assist with sponsor-related design projects such as signage, gameday program design, pocket schedules, MVP cards, and more.
- Support the Marketing Team with social media graphics, advertisements, and website updates.
- Collaborate with leadership to plan and execute theme nights, book entertainment acts, write game scripts, and develop on-field promotions.
- Attend bi-weekly marketing meetings and contribute new ideas.
- Produce print collateral such as flyers, posters, and coupons.
- Maintain organized records of creative assets in Asana for sponsorship recaps.
- Assist with in-house printing and proofing to ensure quality and brand consistency.
- Complete off-season broadcast homework required by the league
- Complete broadcast training required by the league during the off-season
Game Day & Event Responsibilities
- Help oversee the broadcast and make sure everything is running smoothly.
- Troubleshoot issues related to the broadcast.
- Provide feedback to the broadcast team.
- Prepare and verify all in-game graphics before gates open.
- Support fan experience, on-field promotions, and live entertainment during all home games.
- Expected to work all home games; gameday hours can exceed 15 hours per day
General Team Responsibilities
- Non-Game Day/Event Hours: Expected to attend office hours of 9 AM-5 PM each weekday.
- Assist with distribution of team pocket schedules, posters, and other marketing materials throughout the stadium and community. Remote schedule is available.
- All other duties as assigned by Minot front office staff
Academic Qualifications: Applicants should be studying a subject in a relevant field. This may include but is not limited to Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, Sport Management.

- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, InDesign, Lightroom, Photoshop)
- Availability to work all home games and team events

- The ability to work extended hours upwards of 14 hours and lift 30-50 lbs

Reports To: Marketing & Media Manager
Stipend: $500 monthly stipend
Housing: Housing available upon request. Intern will be responsible for utilities.
Credit: College credit towards a major, minor, or general elective may be earned.
