Perhaps Tom Doaks most spectacular design, Punta Brava Golf and Surf Club is an exclusive sanctuary. The golf course is framed by the Pacific coastline on three sides, and this spectacular backdrop provides the golf course with multiple holes with over-ocean carry.   

Tom Doak, a well-known golf course architect whose designs are often praised for their strategic and naturalistic elements, as well as their integration with the surrounding landscape is leading the project. Doak is considered one of the leading figures in modern golf course architecture.

Golf Course Highlights:

• Scheduled to open Summer 2026
• Fewer than 7,000 annual rounds
• Currently there is a team of 25 with plans to grow to 35
• New fleet of machinery
• Rainbird irrigation system
• Golf course grasses include Bermuda, Fescue and Bentgrass

The Role: 

• Perform all aspects of daily golf course maintenance
• Learn how to do the job at a high standard
• Carry out fertilizer applications (Spray hawking, boom spraying, Walk spreading)
• Moisture management on surfaces using hand watering techniques
• Lead small crews and ensure all operational standards are met
• Support cultural practices across all playing surfaces, aeration and topdressing.

The amount of responsibility will be determined on skill and attitude.

Requirements:

• Have a positive and can-do attitude
• Passion for the turf industry.

Salary & Benefits:

• Visa support if required
• $800 - $1000 per week
