Position Overview:
Analytics Intern
Elevate is seeking an Analytics Intern to join our revenue strategy team. As our intern, this role will support a variety of database projects, both internally at Elevate and externally with several high-profile clients. We are looking for someone who is obsessed with data organization and cleanliness. Our intern will primarily use Salesforce and Microsoft Excel, but will encounter other CRM systems and data tools, such as Hubspot and Tableau. This intern will be an integral part of our Revenue Strategy & Analytics team as we drive teams toward better and more data-informed decisions.
This is a remote opportunity; however we do have an office in Charlotte, NC and will consider candidates that are able to work hybrid from our Charlotte office.
What You’ll Do
Reporting & Analytics
- Compile and analyze ticket sales data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Build and maintain recurring reports on CRM metrics (conversion rates, pipeline health, engagement)
- Create dashboards or summaries for stakeholders to track key performance indicators
Sales Forecasting
- Assist in developing forecasting models for ticket sales and revenue
- Analyze historical sales data to identify seasonality and trend patterns
- Support scenario planning (e.g., forecasting impact of promotions or pricing changes)
Predictive Modeling
- Assist in building and refining lead scoring models to prioritize high-value prospects
- Support development of customer retention/churn models
- Help design and validate customer segmentation frameworks based on behavior and purchase patterns
Who You Are
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. Rising Junior or Senior
- Current class standing of a rising Junior, Senior, or graduate student
- Coursework or experience in statistics/probability, regression, and basic machine learning preferred
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for data manipulation and reporting
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying databases
- Familiarity with Python or R for statistical modeling (pandas, scikit-learn, or equivalent)
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) a plus
- Exposure to CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) preferred but not required
- Understanding of basic predictive modeling concepts (classification, clustering, regression)

Compensation & Benefits Details
- Compensation: $20.00/per hour
- Employment Type: Part Time, Non-Exempt
- Internship is expected to work between 20-30 hours per week and last approximately 6 months
