The East Stroudsburg University Athletic Communications Department is hiring TWO qualified graduate assistants for the 2026-27 academic year. One role will focus on video content and digital media for all 22 varsity programs, and the second will serve as the primary contact for at least one sport per season, with potential for additional teams.
Job Description (Video/Digital):
Serve as the primary creator of video content for the ESU athletic department.
Coordinate live video streaming of select home events for every applicable sport.
Create highlight packages for selected athletic contests.
Produce and edit video feature segments.
Catalogue and archive game and media content for future use.
Create videos/graphics for social media.
Work on additional video projects as needed.
Assist the sports information office with other day-to-day tasks as needed.
Job Description (Sports Information):
Serve as the primary contact for assigned sports. Potential sports include men’s soccer, men’s & women’s cross country, men’s & women’s wrestling, women’s swimming, women’s lacrosse, and women’s tennis.
Create, publish, and distribute press releases, game recaps, feature stories, and related content.
Maintain and update team information on the website and historical files.
Assist and, in some cases, lead in the coordination of home athletics events, including stat and live stream operations.
Manage social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and X, posting graphics and news regularly to all platforms while monitoring activity.

Required Qualifications (Video/Digital):
Bachelor’s degree required. Background in communication, TV/film, journalism, or a related field preferred.
Proficient with the Adobe Creative Cloud applications (including Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects) or relevant video production software.
Comfortable working with a wide variety of social media platforms (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/YouTube).
Knowledge and interest in Division II intercollegiate athletics.
Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holiday hours when required for events.
Candidates must be well organized and able to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and achieve targeted goals.

Proficient with stat inputting programs such as NCAA LiveStats, Presto, and StatCrew.
Comfortable writing game recaps and press releases in a timely manner.
Comfortable working with a wide variety of social media platforms (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/YouTube).
Knowledge and interest in Division II intercollegiate athletics.
