QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Experience
• Understanding of Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite software preferred
B. Abilities
• Independent decision making and ability to exercise good judgment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member to complete assigned tasks and meeting deadlines
• Organizational skills, time management, relationship building, and communication skills essential
Willing to work long hours, including nights and weekends
REPORTS TO: Assistant Athletic Director for Communications
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Writing game recaps, season previews, feature stories, general releases, etc.
B. Updating social media accounts
C. Graphic designing of a variety of items, such as infographics, posters, etc.
D. Public-Address Announcing at home games
E. Producing and editing of various videos
F. Updating the athletics website
G. Streaming of home events, including play-by-play announcing, operating Production Truck, vMix, and Tricaster systems
H. Photography
I. Varied office work, including updating records/archives
J. All other duties as assigned.
EVALUATION: Performance will be the responsibility of the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications.
