Kutztown University is seeking two (2) athletic communications graduate assistants for the 2026-27 academic year. The graduate assistants will assist the department's director of athletic communications and assistant director of athletic communications with coverage of the Golden Bears' 23 NCAA Division II varsity athletic programs. Individuals will be responsible for comprehensive website management, including feature stories, event previews and recaps, updating scores, statistics, rosters and schedules, and program archives. There will also be game management duties, to include score table and press box management, operating in-game scoring statistical programs and postgame score reporting. Additionally, the graduate assistants will serve as the primary contact for select sports as assigned by the director of athletic communications, and assist with oversight of Kutztown's official athletics social media platforms and the creation of engaging content for each. The graduate assistants will be required to work hours associated with the athletic communications profession, including nights and weekends.
REQUIRED FOR APPOINTMENT

Registered as a full-time matriculating graduate student (9 or more credits per semester)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Working knowledge of the athletic communications profession and a wide range of collegiate sports
Knowledge of Blueframe/HudlTV Production Truck, NCAA LiveStats/PrestoStats/StatCrew statistical software and the SIDEARM Sports web management platform
Experience with design software such as Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, BoxOut and Canva is preferred
Previous experience with photography and video equipment is helpful, but not required
