Baseball Graduate Assistant

Wisconsin Lutheran College, a NCAA Division III member of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has an opening for a baseball graduate assistant coaching position, with pitching experience preferred. The position is a two-year appointment with assignment beginning around July 1, 2026.

Responsibilities include:

• Completing necessary work to meet expectations/goals of the graduate program;
• Being directly responsible for position skill development in assigned area(s);
• Demonstrate ability to collect and analyze player data;
• Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with coaches, players, and recruits;
• Demonstrate ability to improve coaching skills through personal research and innovative thinking;
• Execute and evaluate practice and game planning, including video coordination;
• Assist with all phases of competitive NCAA compliant recruiting;
• Evaluate prospective student-athletes through game, showcase, and video observation;
• Assist with the direction of camps, fundraising, and other program development activities;
• Assist the Head Coach with office and administrative duties as well as field/facility upkeep.

Graduate programs available are M.S. in Sport and Recreation Management, M.A.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction Leadership, M.A.Ed. in Educational Leadership and Innovation, M.A.Ed. in School Leadership, M.A.Ed. in Special Education/Pupil Services Leadership, and M.S. in Professional Counseling.

The compensation package includes an $18,000 stipend, daily meals, and an affordable on-campus housing option. Bachelor’s degree is required. Valid driver's license is required. Admission into Wisconsin Lutheran College’s graduate program is required and selected candidate must successfully pass a background check.
