Overview
The Laurinburg Highland Hooligans, a premier summer collegiate baseball team, is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Group Ticket Sales/Marketing Intern. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the sports industry while contributing to the success of our team.
About The Players' League
The Players' League is a summer collegiate baseball league that provides a platform for talented college players to develop their skills and compete at a high level. Our league is committed to providing a memorable experience for our fans and fostering a positive and inclusive environment for our players and staff.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote group ticket sales
- Work closely with the sales team to identify and contact potential group buyers
- Organize and execute group outings and events at home games
- Manage and maintain relationships with group leaders and organizations
- Track and analyze group sales data to identify trends and opportunities
- Assist with day-to-day marketing and sales activities, such as customer relationship management, promotional planning, other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in marketing, business, sports management, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) softwares
- Passion for sports and experience in group sales or marketing is a plus
