The opportunity

Boston Bruins are hiring Community Relations and Youth Hockey Interns to join our team Spring 2027 at Boston Bruins in Boston, Massachusetts.

What will you do?

• Create promotional ideas and events for current and potential community relations strategies and sponsors
• Write event recaps and maintain a comprehensive record of media clips that cover the Boston Bruins’ special events
• Assist at team signings, events, and appearances, and serve as a liaison by responding to fan requests promptly
• Manage team-related database, including those related to donations, charities, programs, and events
• Keep an inventory of all signed and premium items, and ensure storage units are organized

More about you

• Current undergraduate student or pursuing a graduate degree
• Must have a flexible schedule to work events and additional community activities when needed, and availability to come into the corporate office at least twice a week
• Excellent copywriting skills and knowledge of the Boston Bruins, the National Hockey League, hockey culture, and hockey fans
• Experience working with schools and children preferred
• Previous experience playing hockey is preferred

Physical requirements

• Able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform occasional manual labor
