As the People Operations Graduate Associate, you will learn the core proficiencies of community and social responsibility throughout our full season! We are seeking a team member with a positive, upbeat outlook that can lead and connect with a diverse population!

What you’ll be doing:

· Assist CSR with planning and execution of Pistons Mentoring programs.

· Support ongoing planning, tracking and visibility of the internal volunteer program. 

· Assist with tracking and distribution of in-kind donations of promotional items for local non-profit organizations and company affiliates.

· Coordinate and assist with the operation of Community & Player Ticket Programs.

· Assist with fundraising efforts and execution of community programs for the Detroit Pistons Foundation.

· Serve as CSR game-night support staff as needed

· Support CSR Motor City Cruise initiatives and activations as needed.

· Aide members of the department with all other projects, as assigned.

· Assist with Human Resources duties as needed

· Serve as leader and liaison of the internship class

Requirements

• Bachelor's  degree required from a college or university in related field (preferred)
• Six months to one-year of peer leadership, Community Relations experience; planning events, volunteering, fundraising
• Ability  to be onsite M-F, holidays, weekends, and nights as needed
• Must  be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Must be able to  multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and display critical thinking skills 
• Self-improver, possess a positive attitude and eagerness to learn
