We are seeking an experienced and motivated Event Finance Intern to join our team for a 6 month term. In this high-impact role, you will support all facets of financial tracking and reporting for ticketed and private events at Player 15 Group venues, while playing a key role in broader department initiatives.

What You Will Do:

  • Compile invoices for private events and ensure they are being properly submitted to the Accounts Payable team.
  • Work with internal partners to collect client information used to create invoices for non-ticketed events to relay to our Accounts Receivable team to charge the client.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with the Accounting department and other internal team members.
  • Help capture and analyze historical data to derive insights to inform decision making.
  • Compile historical data and assemble in an easily accessible format for internal stakeholders.
  • Help create and manage both a ticketed and non-ticketed event tracker to help ensure all costs accrued are properly captured.
  • Attend weekly meetings to better understand the needs and costs associated with events.
  • Facilitate check requests for production runners and catering assistants for ticketed events.
  • Create invoices for arena events using templates provided.
  • Update and manage cash order tracker to ensure event managers have clear visibility of the cash for their shows and when it is being delivered.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We Need from Our Event Finance Intern:

  • High attention to detail to ensure all invoices and reports are accurate
  • Collaborative attitude and ability to work across multiple departments
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and invoicing systems

Experience/ Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business preferred

  • This position works mainly indoors, removed from extreme weather; exposure to weather is <5%

  • Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person.
