The Sugar Bowl Committee is accepting applications for an Events Intern position in the Bowl’s office. The paid position is for 10 months, beginning in August and running through May. Events Intern will assist with the planning and execution of multiple entertainment events throughout the year and during Bowl week. Intern will also assist in the development and set up of hospitality spaces for student-athletes and university guests. Specific duties for the Sugar Bowl and its calendar of events will depend upon the background and experience of the applicant but will include work on the 2027 College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl and over 20 other Committee sponsored events throughout the year.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Effective written and oral communications skills, along with strong computer skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate coursework
- Prior practical collegiate athletics experience in hospitality and events will receive priority consideration
Event Prompt:
The Sugar Bowl hosts a welcome reception for each of the participating teams in the Sugar Bowl game at their respective team hotels. Please create a hospitality event for one of the teams that brings the New Orleans experience to them at their hotel. Please limit your response to the event prompt to one page.
