SUMMARY: The Minnesota Vikings are seeking a Facilities Operations Associate to support daily operations at the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center. This role assists in managing incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory control, on-site event support, and overall facility logistics. Supporting operations across multiple departments, the position helps ensure efficient day-to-day workflows, well-stocked copy rooms and common areas, and a timeline response to facility needs. The ideal candidate is a recent college graduate or early career professional with a background in sport management, supply chain management, business, or a related field. This position demands a proactive individual with strong communication skills and the ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities in a dynamic environment. 

In addition to the duties described above, the Facilities Operations Associate will take part in the Vikings’ exclusive Leadership Development Program. This program will provide regular opportunities for professional development, exposure to organizational leadership and the ability to develop skills critical for the Associate’s future career growth. A fundamental part of the program will include clearly defined goals between the Associate and their Supervisor that will be tracked and measured for progress throughout the term of the program.

 

This is a temporary full-time position that will begin on June 1, 2026, and conclude on May 28, 2027, unless otherwise determined.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Support the preparation and processing of outbound shipments, including packaging, labeling, and required documentation
  • Assist in receiving, identifying, and organizing inbound shipments utilizing package-tracking software and established intake procedures
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to arrange couriers for same-day local deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate service execution
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail to designated departments in accordance with internal routing procedures
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure copy rooms are consistently stocked with essential office supplies
  • Manage departmental inventory requests and ensure timely distribution of materials to the appropriate personnel
  • Monitor supply usage trends and recommend reorder points to ensure consistent stock availability
  • Manager confidential document shred bins and replace full containers in accordance with security and disposal protocols
  • Maintain clean, well-organized supply rooms and shared workspaces to support efficient daily operations
  • Provide operational support for on-campus events, ensuring logistics, supplies, and workspace needs are effectively met
  • Assist with small projects or improvements as assigned

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be a positive team player with strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and multi-tasking skills
  • The ability to work long, flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
  • Ability to maintain professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Desire to learn and advance knowledge and skills
  • Must have reliable transportation
