Knoxville, Tennessee, Tennessee Athletics is excited to begin the search for 2 positions in Marketing/Fan Experience beginning July 2026 through the 2026-27 academic year. These individuals will assist the Marketing and Fan Experience department with all aspects of marketing, fan experience and creating elite in-game atmospheres for all Tennessee Athletic sports.

One Graduate Assistant – Consideration for this position is contingent upon successful admission to a master’s degree-seeking program at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.

Interested candidates are encouraged to begin the admissions application to select master’s programs immediately. The admissions process for graduate programs is separate from the application for this position within Tennessee Athletics.

You must complete your application online through the university’s Graduate Admissions website for the graduate programs.

This is a two-year position upon retention from year 1.

The graduate assistant appointments include: a graduate tuition waiver, a monthly stipend, and other select opportunities provided to athletics department employees

One Post-Graduate Assistant - A 10-month temporary position with a monthly stipend.

Minimum Education - Bachelor’s degree

Minimum Requirements for both positions

1 year of work-related experience required in intercollegiate athletics

Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, including both verbal and written

Ability to work nights and weekends

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsible for adhering to the rules and regulations of the department, University, SEC, and NCAA

Unquestioned integrity and trustworthiness

Adherence to University, Southeastern Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations

Ability to work with diverse populations in a positive manner

Commitment to the Athletics Department and University's mission

Primary responsibilities for both positions include, but are not limited to:

Serve an integral role within the fan experience team, working directly with several sports to assist in developing and executing creative, innovative marketing plans that maximize revenue, brand profile, attendance, and fan experience to create the best home atmosphere in the country

Lead efforts/coordination of assigned elements on gameday for various sports

Coordinate and supervise student workers in office setting and during in-game events.

Assist with community and on-campus grassroots marketing efforts
