Position Summary

The Gifting & Merchandise Associate will assist the Manager of Promotion and Corporate Gifting and the Manager of Merchandise and Retail Experience with planning, sourcing, and fulfilling various gifting and merchandising initiatives throughout the season.

In addition to the duties described above, the Gifting & Merchandise Associate will participate in the Vikings’ exclusive Leadership Development Program. This program provides opportunities for professional development, exposure to organizational leadership, and skill-building critical for future career growth. Clearly defined goals between the Associate and their Supervisor will be tracked and measured throughout the term of the program.

This is a temporary full-time position beginning June 1, 2026, and concluding May 28, 2027, unless otherwise determined.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support execution of exclusive gifting activations that provide networking and entertainment opportunities for top-tier executives and corporate partners
  • Assist in organization, tracking, and shipping of contractual merchandise for partners and internal requests
  • Research industry trends in luxury, lifestyle, and custom gifting and event activation, particularly related to Partnership and Premium Experiences
  • Facilitate communication with external vendors for premium product procurement
  • Maintain internal merchandise closet inventory and assist in tracking budgets
  • Collaborate with Partnerships and Events staff to fulfill special programs and projects
  • Provide onsite support during events for setup, distribution, and guest experience in merchandise and gifting areas
  • Assist department in preparation for games, including setup and sponsor promotions
  • Support Events Department with sponsor involvement and other aspects of special events

Qualification Requirements

  • Degree recommended in Sports Management, Marketing, Events, Hospitality Management, or related field
  • Flexible schedule required, including office hours, evenings, weekends, holidays, and all home games
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); design experience a plus
  • Previous professional sports, events, or partnership activation internship experience strongly preferred
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, able to contribute ideas and creativity
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation to attend events throughout the Twin Cities

Physical Demands

  • Ability to perform tasks such as lifting and moving boxes and setting up signage
  • Ability to stand, walk, and navigate stadiums for extended periods
  • Ability to work in inclement weather
