The Graduate Assistant for Athletic Development/Bear Foundation will work within this NCAA Division I Power Four Department of Athletics to assist in creating an elite game atmosphere and experience and in expanding the reach of social and digital media marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for sports and storytelling, be highly organized, detail-oriented, and function well as a team member within this work environment.

Expected Job Duties:

•Event Management: Assist in a specific area/event at football and basketball contests and fundraising events.

•Communications: Responsible for managing sport-specific excellence fund reports and communicating with coaches

•Fundraising: Will help solicit new and renewed Bear Foundation memberships as well as assist in selling premium tickets

•Donor Relations: Assist with donor relations, coordination of benefits, premium seating, and gift solicitation.

•Compliance: Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to all NCAA, Big 12 Conference, and institution rules and regulations and communicate immediately any possible infractions of such rules and regulations to the Athletics Compliance staff.

•Projected 20-28 hours per week. Evenings and weekends as necessary.

•Other duties as assigned.

The Graduate Assistant for Ticket Operations will work within this NCAA Division I Power Four Department of Athletics to assist in creating an elite customer service experience within the ticketing processes. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for sports and service, be detail-oriented, and function well as a team member within this work environment.

Expected Job Duties:

•Operations: Assist with ticket operations and fulfillment including planning, communication, sales processing and reconciliation for various athletics and special events. More specifically:

•Handling day-to-day ticket operations to include printing, mailing, order fulfillment, incoming orders, etc.

•Managing assigned sport event logistics and assisting with other ticketed sports regular and post season operations.

•Relations: Maintain high levels of service including excellent customer relations, communication and conflict resolution.

•Communication: Maintain communication with supervisor relative to ticket sales, orders, revenue, promotions, etc.

•Compliance: Maintain working knowledge of and adherence to all NCAA, Big 12 Conference, and institution rules and regulations and to communicate immediately any possible infractions of such rules and regulations to the Athletics Compliance staff.

•Projected 20 hours per week. Evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary.

•Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Previous work experience in a collegiate athletics environment is preferred but not required.

Admission to the Sport Management Graduate Program at Baylor University [online application includes: resume, 3 letters of recommendation, transcripts, GRE/GMAT (waived with ug GPA above 3.25), and personal statement]. 

Maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA throughout graduate studies.

Starting Date is August 17, 2026.

Annual stipend of $13,000 (paid bi-weekly) for 20 hours per week. Additional compensated hours possible. Fully admitted Graduate Assistant Graduate will receive an 80% tuition discount.
