Position Summary The Athletics Department at Bryant University invites applications for the 2‑year Graduate Assistant position in Athletics Administration/Facilities. Bryant University is an NCAA Division I program, sponsoring 25 varsity sports, and is a member of the America East Conference as well as an associate member of the Coastal Athletic Association, Big South, and East Coast Conferences. This position reports to the Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations (or designated athletics administrator).

The Graduate Assistant for Administration/Facilities will support the management, scheduling, and daily operations of Bryant Athletics facilities, with primary responsibility for coordinating all facility rentals and camps and clinics, while also assisting with game‑day operations for home athletic events.

Salary Range:GA compensation includes a full tuition waiver, housing, and a $1,500.00 stipend in Spring and Fall semesters starting August 1. Graduate School is a 2‑year part‑time program beginning August 2026 through August 2028.

Principal Accountabilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing and coordinating all athletics facility rentals, including scheduling, contracts, invoicing, communication with external users, and compliance with institutional policies
  • Managing the approval, scheduling, and operational support of all camps and clinics, ensuring adherence to NCAA, conference, and institutional guidelines
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for internal and external facility users
  • Assisting with game‑day operations for home athletic events, including event setup and breakdown, staffing coordination, facility readiness, and troubleshooting
  • Supporting event management for regular season contests, postseason events, and special events hosted by the athletics department
  • Collaborating with athletics administration, coaches, campus partners, and external vendors to ensure smooth facility operations
  • Assisting with the development and maintenance of facility schedules and master calendars
  • Supporting facility inspections, equipment inventory, and operational reporting
  • Assisting with administrative duties such as record keeping, documentation, meeting minutes, and data tracking
  • Performing other duties as assigned

This position requires availability on nights, weekends, and select holidays, particularly during athletic competitions, camps, clinics, and special events.
Qualifications Requires an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution and acceptance into the Bryant University Graduate School (acceptance must be confirmed before candidate will be considered).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in athletics facilities, event operations, or administration
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and institutional policies related to camps, clinics, and facility usage
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple schedules and responsibilities
  • Experience with event operations and game‑day management in an intercollegiate athletics setting
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills, and ability to remain composed in fast‑paced environments
  • Exposure to intercollegiate athletics
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
