Graduate Assistant Athletics - Fan Engagement

Tusculum University, a NCAA Division II institution located in Greeneville, TN seeks qualified applicants for a graduate assistant position with Athletics – Fan Engagement. The Graduate Assistant for Fan Engagement supports the sports information department in creating a dynamic and engaging game-day atmosphere across all varsity sports. This position plays a key role in enhancing the fan experience through in-game marketing activations, music coordination, and promotional execution.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute in-game marketing activations, promotions, and sponsorship elements,
• Coordinate pre-game and in-game music, including playlists and timing within game scripts,
• Assist in the management and promotion of the department’s fan engagement app to drive attendance and participation,
• Support game-day operations, including scripting, on-field/court promotions, and crowd engagement,
• Collaborate with marketing staff to develop promotional strategies and special event planning (e.g., theme nights, pack-the-arena initiatives),
• Assist with general athletic marketing initiatives, including social media coordination, campus outreach, and promotional material distribution,
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall success of the athletics department

This 12-month position requires a bachelor’s degree and admission to the graduate program in an officially recognized degree program at Tusculum University. This is a non-paying position however will provide tuition and possible housing.
