Northwest Nazarene University is accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Coach for STUNT. This position is part-time and will report to the Head STUNT Coach.

Essential Functions

  • Prepares, plans, conducts, and evaluates practice sessions as directed by Head Coach
  • Teaches individuals and groups of student-athletes specific tasks and skills before, during and after practice, during season and off-season
  • Follow all NCAA and Northwest Nazarene University’s recruiting policies
  • Oversee portion of study hall
  • Plans long and short-term team objectives under the leadership of the Head Coach
  • Participates in recruiting efforts with the Office of Admissions, Academic Services, Compliance and others within your PSAs under the supervision of the program’s recruiting coordinator
  • Assists in the formulation of team and department fundraising activities and promotional events
  • Administers day to day operations as directed by the Head Coach

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Acceptance into NNU’s Graduate School (see note about excluded programs in Additional Salary Information below)
  • Sufficient skills, knowledge and training to perform the essential function of the position

Ability to obtain and maintain current First Aid and CPR card

Ability to obtain NNU driving certification

Employment at Northwest Nazarene University is contingent upon the results of an independent background check.

Applications will be accepted until position is filled. Full-time graduate school tuition and a $3,000 per year stipend. A two-year commitment is preferred, renewed after one year based on satisfactory academic and work-related performance. Note: Tuition benefits are not available for NNU doctoral programs or the Master of Science in Counseling.
