Graduate Assistant for Videography and Content Creation

Responsibilities:

• Serve as head creative videographer/photographer/editor, under the direction of Director of Creative Content and Visual Media, Kaylee Hendrickson, for Milligan athletics department in 2026-27 and 2027-28.

Tasks include, but not limited to:

• Assisting with production of marketing materials for social media channels through video content.
• Produce once-monthly podcast episode of ‘The Charge’.
• Assist with graphic creation for both social channels and stream broadcasts.
• Serve in photography role when able.
• Manage student workers under your direction on gamedays.
• Help department prepare for yearly ‘Buffys’ award ceremony with video content.
• Other duties as assigned.

Appointment contingent on candidate being accepted to the MU Graduate School in the MBA program. All graduate assistantships are renewable for two consecutive years (two years total). The two-year appointment is contingent upon successful completion of GA duties and responsibilities which includes maintaining a minimum of six graduate credits each semester of assistantship and maintaining at least a 3.00 cumulative GPA.  The candidate appointed to the position will receive a yearly stipend of $5,000 and a tuition waiver. This person must be willing and able to work daily office hours, nights, and weekends throughout the academic school year including vacation periods.  Some travel may be required in these positions.  Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license.  Start date will be August 1, 2026.
