Support the Coordinator of Community Engagement and Coordinator of Ticket Operations in implementing initiatives that engage the surrounding community with the University’s athletic programs, generate ticket revenue and secure opportunities for game day performances and experiences for the community across all revenue-generating sports. Community Engagement:
Assist with production and distribution of promotional flyers for game day themes and events
Attend meetings and visits with Community Engagement Coordinator in the community, working to build relationships with local schools, community organizations, businesses and churches
Assist Community Engagement Coordinator with communication to groups to increase fan attendance
Group Management:
Schedule and coordinate logistics with performers, entertainers, and contractors including national anthem performers, flag holders, halftime performers, baseball run out groups, and more
Collaborate with Fan Experience Team to incorporate behind the scenes experiences into gamedays for groups (birthday parties, office groups, church groups, etc.)
Game Day Execution:
Assist with ticket distribution at events
Manage game day logistics for all performers. Ensure activities are on time, organized, while at the same time creating a fun and stress-free atmosphere for participating groups.
Maintain a high energy, positive atmosphere throughout events for fans
Recognize and show appreciation to season ticket holders at events
Ticket Operations:
Assist Ticket Operations Coordinator with sales calls for all ticket sales sports
Provide quality customer service to season ticket holders over the phone and in person
Evaluate ticket sales, working with Ticket Operations Coordinator to create and implement ticket sales campaigns for each sport.

Must be able to stand, engage in repetitive motions, walk, communicate, hear and see, including color, depth perception and clarity.

Departmental Preferences
1-3 years of experience within an NCAA Division 1 athletics department or professional sports organization with specialization in ticketing and event operations
All successful applicants must meet the admission requirements for Mercer’s Graduate School and will be awarded a monthly stipend and housing/utilities, plus tuition, books and fees.
