The Savannah Ghost Pirates are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Design & Digital Media Intern for Summer 2025! This internship offers hands-on experience in sports design, branding, and digital content creation while contributing to the excitement of professional hockey.
Responsibilities:
Assist in updating and customizing pre-made design templates created by the graphic design team.
Develop new templates for the 2025-2026 season to be used across digital and print platforms.
Review and suggest updates for the team website, ensuring visuals and branding remain current.
Maintain and update partner pages, keeping sponsorship assets fresh and engaging.
Organize and tag photos in SmugMug, ensuring an efficient and accessible media library.
Design various digital assets, with an emphasis on creativity and brand consistency.
Participate in a design case study project, applying skills to real-world sports marketing challenges.
Edit and refine content, ensuring high-quality production for social media and marketing use.
Outline and draft finalized content, including captions and strategic messaging to be reviewed and posted by full-time Digital Media & Marketing team.
Assist in creating weekly content plans, organizing and proposing engaging posts across all platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
A strong eye for design, branding, and layout.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Passion for sports, digital media, and social media trends.
Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or similar).
Strong understanding of social media platforms and how to create engaging, interactive content.
