Playing in the Eastern Conference of the Ontario Hockey League, the Steelheads are a junior hockey team that plays out of the CAA Centre.
Job Description
As a member of the Steelheads team, you will play an active role in the day-to-day business operations of the organization.
This internship includes responsibilities such as:

Creating graphics and assisting with video promotion for the upcoming season

Contributing to website and newsletter content
-
Generating new content for all media platforms
-
Providing updates via social media
-
Supporting various event operations
-
Assisting in generating partnership and marketing initiatives during the off-season
-
Completing other duties as required
This internship is completed for post-secondary course credit or sports experience requirements.
Job Duties

Assist in creating graphics and templates for the 2026/2027 season

Assist in creating video board assets and social media assets

Work collaboratively with all positions within the Communications and Digital Media scope

Generate and create engaging content for all social media platforms

Assist in marketing and promotions

Assist in generating partnership leads
Position Requirements
-
Previous experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, After Effects)
-
Photography and videography skills are considered a strong asset
-
Ability to work independently and meet required deadlines
-
Access to your own equipment is considered an asset
-
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and WordPress is considered an asset
-
Available Monday–Friday, with sporadic weekend work as required
-
Office hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM each weekday (includes a 1-hour lunch break)

Office attire is business casual
-
Interns are expected to work in a hybrid rotation (in-office and remote)
