Intern, Content Studio - Summer 2026

The Miami HEAT Content team is looking for passionate, motivated, and creative interns to join our production department for the 2026 Summer (6/8/2026-8/7/2026). This is a hands-on educational internship designed for junior or senior-level college students pursuing careers in video production, content creation, or digital media. As an intern, you'll gain real-world experience supporting all areas of our content production pipeline—from organizing historical footage, logging NBA highlights and being a part of our studio shoots.  

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The following are examples of the various functions required. The job requirements are not limited to the items on this list.

• Organize, log and archive historical clips, player interviews, and highlight reels
• Record and log NBA games, plays, and press content
• Label and enter game reels and ENG tapes into the media library system
• Assist with archiving media clips from events, games, and broadcasts
• Shadow content team members during film shoots, interview sessions, and community events
• Collaborate with other departments for cross-functional exposure

Must be a currently enrolled junior or senior at an accredited college/university

• Must be a currently enrolled junior or senior at an accredited college/university
• Strong computer proficiency and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Passion for content creation, storytelling, and sports media
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Prior production, media, and editing experience is a plus (but not required)

Details

• Interns must work a minimum of 25 hours per week, up to 29 hours
• This is a paid internship
• Students must provide official documentation from their school verifying enrollment and internship eligibility
