Altitude Media Sales is responsible for selling partnerships and sponsorships in collaboration with the Partnership Marketing team. These partnerships may include a combination of in-arena assets, linear television, radio, and streaming/digital platforms.  Our team works closely with advertisers to create customized, multi-platform solutions that connect brands with passionate fans through live sports and original content. From concept to execution, the Media Sales group plays a key role in developing proposals, managing inventory, supporting account executives, and ensuring campaigns are delivered accurately and effectively.
 
Nature of Work:
The Altitude Sales Intern will support all aspects of the Altitude Sales staff’s day-to-day operations. Projects include but aren’t limited to: Nielsen Ratings, Digital Ad Insertion/Streaming, Sales order review, Monitor client executions, research prospective clients, Recap reports, Sales presentations. This position will be heavily driven in the advertising sales role of media. Interns will be a part-time employees, scheduled for a maximum of 29 hours per week.
 
As an intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to the sales process across multiple platforms, learn how partnerships are built and executed, and work alongside a collaborative team in a fast-paced sports media environment. This role offers a valuable opportunity to develop real-world skills in sales operations, marketing strategy, and client support while contributing to the success of Altitude’s partnerships.
 
Examples of work performed:
  • Maintains Nielsen Game trackers to report audience and ratings data
  • Assists in execution and tracking of sponsored broadcast and digital content
  • Assists with input of sales orders
  • Prepare post campaign recap reports
  • Track competitor placements on other RSN’s and streaming platforms
  • Assists with sponsorships across linear and streaming
  • Compile performance metrics for digital campaigns
  • Supports sales efforts for bundled TV & Digital Sponsorship packages
  • Performs additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum
    • Enrolled in a certificate program or higher education institution pursuing a degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field
    • Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
  • Preferred
    • Certificate or BS/BA degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field
    • Sales or Marketing experience

Compensation:
  • Base hourly range $19.29 per hour
