General position summary: The e-learning team provides an internship experience that promotes growth within the field of learning and development. The
instructional design intern will work directly with the e-learning team within the leadership development unit to support and deliver on projects, playing a pivotal role in their success. The intern will create, design, and evaluate courses, curriculum, and content. An extensive degree of creativity and self-motivation is expected. Responsibilities
Program Development
Assist with curriculum, schedules and speaker coordination.
Support onsite program delivery.
Coordinate learner engagement and event logistics.
Project Leadership
Support Leadership Development initiatives.
Collaborate on cross-functional projects.
Assist Division II and III diversity grant initiatives.
Manage participant communications.
Digital Learning
Develop online learning materials.
Create presentations and learning resources.
Support the Learning Management System.
Evaluate learner feedback for continuous improvement.
Essential duties:
Support the analysis, design, development and evaluation of training solutions aligned with business objectives.
Design and development engaging e-learning modules, online courses and instructional materials for diverse audiences.
Support continuous improvement efforts related to content updates and enhancements, learner engagement and learning management system efficiency.
Stay abreast of emerging instructional technologies and evolving standards in educational practice and design.
Support live virtual trainings and programs. Upload, organize, and test content in learning management system.
Use organization-wide project management software (Asana) to track projects and provide visibility to owned efforts.
Assist with documenting policies and standard operating procedures.
