Journalsim/Beat Writer Internship - North Shore Navigators

The North Shore Navigators seek an undergraduate student to join the Media Team as Journalism Intern/Beat Writer. Successful candidate will team with the Director of Communications for split duties.

Responsibilities: 

• Publish articles for team website and periodicals, including game stories, previews and features 

• Manage official team social media channels in conjunction with the rest of the Media Team 

• Edit other Media Team writing 

• Facilitate production of game program before all home games 

Requirements: 

• Sports beat writing experience with a student newspaper

• Website management and social media proficiency

• Ambitious creativity and growth mindset 

Preferred: 

• Journalism coursework 

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom) 

• Undergraduate status
