The Media Management Intern supports the Content Team by organizing, maintaining, and optimizing the team’s growing library of video and audio assets. This role focuses on media ingest, cataloging archiving, and content distribution to ensure efficient workflows.
Program Period: June 2026 – End of 2026-27 Sacramento Kings Season
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Kings Content Team across video production, post-production, and content delivery workflows.
- Support ingests, organization, logging, tagging, and distribution of video and audio assets.
- Handle internal and external requests for all footage.
- Maintain organization of shared storage systems and assist with archival processes (on-prem).
- Assist on shoots, game nights, and special projects as needed.
- Contribute to workflow improvements and help maintain consistency across projects.
- Assist in developing content strategy.
- Regularly work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of camera workflows.
- Proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder.
- Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator experience a plus.
- Camera familiarity (Sony A7siii, Sony A7RIV and Sony FX6).
- Creative visual storyteller.
- Well-versed interview and on-set production lighting.
- Familiar with field production audio equipment.
- Experience with sound design and color correction.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Superior attention to detail, organization, and editing experience.
- Self-starter that is motivated to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented workplace.
- Team and detail oriented.
To qualify for Kings University internships, you must be:
- Currently enrolled in college or have graduated within 12 months
- Able to commute to the downtown Sacramento office
- Able to work an average of 25 hours per week
