As a Premium Sales and Service Intern, you will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional experience for our premium clients by providing event day and administrative support. The premium sales and service team is part of the Ticket Sales Department and is responsible for the sales and retention of all premium products at Golden 1 Center, including but not limited to: suites, lofts, courtside seats, and club seats.
The ideal candidate is creative, highly organized, detail oriented, a self-starter, and skilled at executing and streamlining processes. The Premium Sales & Service Intern will primarily support the Premium Sales and Service teams, and ancillary the larger Ticket Sales Department. In addition to support responsibilities this role will require strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and a determination to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Assist with event day duties including preparation of all premium ticketed areas, staffing concierge desk(s) to greet guests and assist with general questions and/or ticket resolution, and assisting sales and service teams.
- Develop a comprehensive presentation summarizing findings and strategic recommendations to enhance our premium products and elevate the overall member experience.
- Assist with coordination and execution of Suite/Loft Owner and Premium Member events and gifting.
- Document information and pictures from events to be used in internal and external post event recaps.
- Assist with department communication including newsletters, event announcements and invitations, sales and renewal campaigns, and more.
- Assist with creation of new sales and retention sales presentation to ensure consistency.
- Play a key role in the collection and continual maintenance of department and client information in internal documents and Salesforce CRM.
- Assist with the organization, management, and maintenance of department materials such as sales and service collateral, merchandise giveaways, promotional items, gifting, and more.
- Assist in the coordination of department meetings, trainings, and team outings.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- College Majors in Business, Sports Management, Communications, or related field preferred
- Rising junior or senior currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Dependability is key: consistently punctual and prepared for a fast-paced environment, executes instructions, and embraces coaching
- Proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, including Publisher
- Ability to work Kings games, concerts, and events on nights/weekends
- Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
To qualify for Kings University internships, you must be:
- Currently enrolled in college or have graduated within 12 months
- Able to commute to the downtown Sacramento office
- Able to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer session
Interns will be compensated $17.50 per hour and receive benefits such as California Paid Sick Leave, discounts on Sacramento Kings merchandise, and free parking.
