The Travelers Championship is Connecticut’s Signature PGA TOUR event in 2027, bringing the world’s best golfers to TPC River Highlands each June.
The Travelers Championship Internship Program gives college students a unique, hands-on opportunity to experience what goes into organizing a professional sporting event. Interns become an active part of the tournament team while gaining experience across areas including sales, ticketing, operations, volunteers, design and more. We’re looking for highly motivated, dependable, detail-oriented team players who are ready to learn, contribute and take on meaningful responsibility.

The tournament is seeking a Marketing & Design Intern to support marketing initiatives and design projects leading up to tournament week. The intern will contribute to digital marketing, website content, signage, advertising, and other brand-related projects while gaining insight into the planning and execution of a Signature PGA TOUR Event.

The Marketing & Design Intern will work directly with tournament staff to create visual content supporting sales initiatives, sponsor activation, volunteer recruitment, and other tournament needs. The position provides practical exposure to sports marketing, branding, event production, and sponsorship fulfillment.
This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in pursuing careers in graphic design, sports marketing, event production, or brand management.

  • The nature of this program is that internship hours may be less demanding earlier in the year, with intensity increasing as the tournament nears.
