Job Summary:
Support the Communications & Marketing department with a variety of duties and responsibilities, with a focus on traditional and digital marketing campaign support.
Employees are expected to follow all Cincinnati Reds policies and procedures, serve as positive role models, and manage their workload effectively. This includes demonstrating flexibility, prioritizing tasks efficiently, and meeting departmental productivity standards.

  • Bachelor’s degree or pursuing bachelor’s degree
Experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Copywriting experience
  • Strong knowledge of the Cincinnati Reds and Major League Baseball
  • Strong knowledge and familiarity with X, Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms
Skills
  • Excellent time management and strong attention to detail

 Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Copywriting, editing and proofreading for Reds marketing materials and advertising campaigns20%
Assist with traffic instructions for media partners15%
Summarization of advertising support for Corporate partners15%
Assist with pulling and interpreting reports for performance media campaigns20%
Benchmarking other MLB teams’ initiatives, promotions, advertising campaigns15%
Distribute promotional items departmentally and to local media partners5%
Support Communications & Marketing team with game day needs and off-site promotional events as assigned5%
Other duties as assigned5%

             

Reporting Structure: 
This role reports directly to the Advertising & Media Manager

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally required to sit
  • Use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear
  • Light lifting/carrying to assist with event preparation
  • May be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
     

Schedule:
Approximately 12-15 hours per week; some night/weekend hours could be required, including games.

Additional Information:

  • This is a seasonal opportunity; no benefits will be provided.
  • Seasonal employment will last a maximum of 35 weeks.
