INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW
Primary job responsibilities include designing print and digital deliverables for the venue’s managed facilities and supporting brand development.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Edit photos, create social media posts, and express a variety of brand identities for clients. Assist in creating brand and style guides for a variety of sports facilities, events, and programs. Learn art direction and coordinate with vendors using clear and concise briefs. Coordinate with marketing managers and creative teams to ensure quality and brand consistency. Help drive the achievement of key delivery dates. Use SEO analysis tools and resources to audit the company’s SEO practices and assist in redesigning its SEO strategy. Research content and SEO best practices to provide recommendations for improving the company’s online presence. Assist in editing and creating original content that captures the company’s brand and unique voice.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Recently graduated or currently pursuing a degree in graphic design, marketing, digital communications, or a related field. Working knowledge of Mac OS and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. A desire to understand sports and event narratives with the ability to express them through graphics. High level of creativity, passion, and integrity. Organized and able to multitask effectively. Ability to communicate effectively both orally, visually, and in writing. Strong presentation skills. Understanding of formatting articles for the web. Excellent overall writing skills across a variety of styles and tones. Available to work 40 hours per week, including nights, weekends, and game days.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The working environment is fast-paced. Must be able to lift and or move up to 15 pounds occasionally. Will be required to sit for extended periods while operating a computer. The workplace environment has intermittent noise that is generally moderate in nature but can become loud during competitions and events. Exposure to heat, cold, and other environmental elements may occur.
