About Denton Diablos FC
Founded in 2018, Denton Diablos FC is a community-driven soccer club based in Denton, Texas.
In 2021, the Diablos won the NPSL National Championship and are now looking to build on that success in the United Soccer League. We are entering our second season in USL League Two, the top pre-professional league in the country and a proven pathway for elite collegiate and aspiring professional players.
The Diablos were built with a simple mission: For Club. For Community. For the Game. Everything we do, on the field and off, is rooted in creating an authentic, professionally run soccer organization that belongs to the city of Denton. As an organization we are deeply committed to serving our fans, local businesses, and the community we represent.
For our interns, this means hands-on experience inside a fast-moving, community-focused sports club where creativity, initiative, and professionalism matter. You will not be observing from the sidelines. You will be part of the work that helps operate, promote, and grow a nationally recognized pre-professional soccer club.

This is an unpaid internship designed to be a true entry point into the sports industry. Interns will gain experience inside a nationally recognized, championship-winning, USL League Two soccer club while building a professional portfolio of real work across game day, marketing, operations, and community engagement.
Past Diablos interns have gone on to careers with major DFW organizations including the Dallas Stars, Dallas Cowboys, and Dallas Mavericks. This internship is built to give you practical experience, meaningful responsibility, and a proven pathway into sports.

Our Marketing and Social Content Interns support the club’s efforts to promote the 2026 USL League Two season across online platforms and on-site activations.

- Assist in planning and executing content across TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Work with players, coaches, and staff to capture behind-the-scenes and storytelling content
- Capture photo and video content at matches, trainings, and community events
- Provide game day media coverage and real-time posting
- Organize and archive photo and video assets for future use
- Contribute ideas during weekly content and campaign planning meetings
- Track engagement metrics and assist with basic performance reporting
Recommended Proficiencies
Ideal candidates have experience with:
- Mobile video editing tools such as CapCut
- Design platforms like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator etc.)
- Google Drive, Docs and Sheets for content organization and collaboration
