About Denton Diablos FC
Founded in 2018, Denton Diablos FC is a community-driven soccer club based in Denton, Texas.
In 2021, the Diablos won the NPSL National Championship and are now looking to build on that success in the United Soccer League. We are entering our second season in USL League Two, the top pre-professional league in the country and a proven pathway for elite collegiate and aspiring professional players.
The Diablos were built with a simple mission: For Club. For Community. For the Game. Everything we do, on the field and off, is rooted in creating an authentic, professionally run soccer organization that belongs to the city of Denton. As an organization we are deeply committed to serving our fans, local businesses, and the community we represent.
For our interns, this means hands-on experience inside a fast-moving, community-focused sports club where creativity, initiative, and professionalism matter. You will not be observing from the sidelines. You will be part of the work that helps operate, promote, and grow a nationally recognized pre-professional soccer club.

This is an unpaid internship designed to be a true entry point into the sports industry. Interns will gain experience inside a nationally recognized, championship-winning, USL League Two soccer club while building a professional portfolio of real work across game day, marketing, operations, and community engagement.
Past Diablos interns have gone on to careers with major DFW organizations including the Dallas Stars, Dallas Cowboys, and Dallas Mavericks. This internship is built to give you practical experience, meaningful responsibility, and a proven pathway into sports.

Our Merchandise and Team Store Interns help power one of the most visible parts of the Denton Diablos experience — connecting fans with the gear that represents the club.
- Operate the Denton Diablos team store around home matches and special events
- Set up and break down merchandise displays at the stadium on game days
- Assist fans with purchases, sizing questions, and product information
- Process sales using the team’s point-of-sale system and handle transactions accurately
- Track inventory levels and assist with restocking and organization of merchandise
- Transport merchandise, displays, and equipment between the club office and playing facility as needed
- Help organize, count, and prepare merchandise ahead of matchdays and events
- Provide input during weekly planning meetings regarding merchandising ideas and fan interest
Ideal candidates are:
- Comfortable interacting with fans and providing friendly customer service
- Organized and detail-oriented with an eye for presentation
- Dependable and able to manage responsibility over inventory and sales
- Comfortable lifting and transporting boxes and merchandise as needed
- Familiar with Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets for inventory tracking and coordination
- Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience is a plus
