Official Scorekeeper Internship

THIS IS AN UNPAID INTERNSHIP FOR THE 2026 SEASON. College Credit available. In person in Brockton, MA.

The Brockton Rox are seeking an official scorekeeper for home games for their 2026 season. This on-site position will take place almost entirely in the press box at Campanelli Stadium, and we are looking for a sports management/sports media student with a strong passion for baseball.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions: 
You are expected to be able to attend at least 70% of home games at Campanelli Stadium.

The Rox are seeking official scorekeepers for the 2026 season. Applicants are expected to have considerable experience in baseball and should be very knowledgeable in the rules and aspects of the game. 

The software used for scorekeeping is Pointstreak. Previous experience with scorekeeping apps such as Pointstreak is preferred, but not required. If you do not have previous experience with Pointstreak, at least 10 hours of training is required prior to your first game.

All press box employees are also expected to assist in other areas in the press box when needed and are encouraged to learn any other roles that they desire.

Applicants are expected to provide a cover letter detailing their passion for baseball and their desire to work in the industry.
