New Orleans, Louisiana, The Sugar Bowl Committee is accepting applications for an Operations Intern position in the Bowl’s office. The paid position is for 10 months, beginning in August and running through May. Operations Intern will assist with team and stadium operations, including creating operations manuals, stadium vendor coordination, credentialing and managing team requirements for practices and game day. Specific duties for the Sugar Bowl and its calendar of events will depend upon the background and experience of the applicant but will include work on the 2027 College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Allstate Sugar Bowl and over 20 Committee sponsored events throughout the year.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree
- Effective written and oral communications skills, along with strong computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postgraduate coursework
- Prior practical collegiate athletics experience in team and stadium operations will receive priority consideration

Writing Prompt: Each year the Sugar Bowl hosts a hospitality room for the players of each team at their respective team hotels during their stay in New Orleans.  Please create a plan for the hospitality room that includes entertainment, activations, food and beverages to enhance the players' Sugar Bowl experience.  Please limit your response to the prompt to one page.
