We are seeking a driven Partnership Intern to gain hands-on experience in sales, partnership strategy, and problem-solving within the sports industry. Working alongside our partnerships team, you will have hands-on experience with businesses across Oregon, develop innovative concepts, and help deliver an amazing Pickles season at Walker Stadium.
If you are a self-starter, team-player, and can handle a fast paced environment, this is the job for you!
Key Deliverables:
- Outreach & Prospecting: Research and engage local businesses throughout Portland and Oregon to generate new partnership opportunities.
- Sales Strategy & Pitching: Learn sales strategy and creative problem solving in the context of the sports industry. Additionally, support in developing pitch presentations.
- Partner Intake & Coordination: Support partner onboarding, manage ongoing client communications, and maintain organized partner records.
- Scheduling & Call Support: Coordinate team calendars, schedule client meetings, and capture detailed notes during partnership discussions.
- Intern Capstone Project: Identify new market opportunities, develop a strategic action plan, and support project execution.

Necessary Skills and basic responsibilities:
- Proficiency in social media marketing.
- Familiar with Google Suite and email communication.
- Learning sales strategy and creative problem solving.
- Willingness to learn new things!
Preferred candidates are pursuing college credit for the internship, or are looking for an opportunity to dive head first into the sports world.
