SUMMARY: The Minnesota Vikings are currently seeking a creative, highly motivated Photo Editing / Digital Asset Management (DAM) Associate with a passion for football. The Photo Editing / Digital Asset Management (DAM) Associate will assist Vikings photographers with the postproduction process including, but not limited to, editing, culling, retouching, archiving, distribution, and image sourcing. The Photo Editing / Digital Asset Management (DAM) Associate will report to the Media Assets Manager to gain immense experience working with photography collections, archives, workflows and other processes in a fast-paced, content-driven, sports environment. This position will be responsible for completing some photography requests and other duties as assigned during the 2026 season. The gameday role (home games at U.S. Bank Stadium; away games remote) for this position will focus on photo editing and does not involve photographing games.

In addition to the duties described above, the Strategy & Research Associate will take part in the Vikings’ exclusive Leadership Development Program. This program will provide regular opportunities for professional development, exposure to organizational leadership and the ability to develop skills critical for the Associate’s future career growth. A fundamental part of the program will include clearly defined goals between the Associate and their Supervisor that will be tracked and measured for progress throughout the term of the program.

This is a temporary full-time position that will begin on June 1st, 2026 and conclude on May 28th, 2027, unless otherwise determined.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Edit/Retouch photos on Vikings gamedays for immediate use on Vikings.com and social media. 
  • Edit/Retouch photos from a variety of Vikings photographers including non-gameday events and photoshoots. 
  • Cull photographs according to shot lists and needs of the Team. 
  • Tag metadata and upload to the Vikings digital asset management system. 
  • Maintain the Vikings photo archive in collaboration with the Media Assets Manager.
  • Meticulously apply metadata to all photo assets.
  • Handle image sourcing for internal & external photo requests. 
  • Help curate gameday and post-game photo galleries for Vikings.com. 
  • Assist with photoshoots. 
  • Photograph community and other events, if needed. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in photography or Photojournalism preferred.  
  • Proficient in, Adobe Photoshop, and Photo Mechanic. No preference on editing software but adobe software is preferred. 
  • Experience with utilizing a Digital Asset Management system (Widen, PhotoShelter, OrangeLogic, Bynder, etc.)
  • Demonstrated photo editing experience. 
  • Experience with photo post-production workflows and best practices. 
  • Experience maintaining the lifecycle of photos within a digital asset management system. 
  • Experience working across multiple different teams in high-leverage situations.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism within a professional sports environment and in media work zones. 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. 
  • Ability to travel to various events
