Reporting to the Sr. Manager of Production Operations, the Production Operations Associate will support the Production Operations team and Vikings Entertainment Network (VEN) on press conference coverage, remote shoots, studio setup, live and post productions, and file distribution. In addition, the Associate may take an active role in specific duties throughout the year, including but not limited to lighting setup, camera positioning, engineering, technical directing, replay operation, graphics, and audio mixing. The Associate will interact with all production personnel within VEN and represent the organization with external production teams.
In addition to the duties described above, the Production Operations Associate will take part in the Vikings’ exclusive Leadership Development Program. This program will provide regular opportunities for professional development, exposure to organizational leadership, and the ability to develop skills critical for the Associate’s future career growth. A fundamental part of the program will include clearly defined goals between the Associate and their Supervisor that will be tracked and measured for progress throughout the term of the program.
This is a temporary full-time position that will begin on June 1, 2026, and conclude on May 28, 2027, unless otherwise determined.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
• Assist with studio productions (live and post-production)
• Support press conferences and other streaming productions
• Support VEN/TV partner (Fox 9) broadcasts
• Facilitate TCO Stadium videoboard requests
• Coordinate file distribution internally and externally
• Coordinate and fulfill building and studio access requirements on event dates
• Prepare and maintain TCO Studios in support of brand standards for various productions
• Help facilitate projects and events in the control room and studio
• Support the Game Production team as requested
• Log footage in adherence to Media Asset Management processes
• Assist with tracking and maintenance of production equipment
• Film and edit practices, games, locker room access, interviews, community events, and other content opportunities as assigned
• Contribute to new content development, including ideation and research to help reach organizational goals
• Coordinate, support, and produce technical production aspects of various Vikings events
• Other duties as assigned
Qualification Requirements
• Knowledge of studio cameras
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
• Understanding of video router and switcher basics
• Knowledge of signal workflow
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently after receiving direction and process overview
• Motivated self-starter
• Experience with Ross Systems and/or Daktronics is a plus
