    •   Salary & Benefits:
    - $18.00/hour
    - Approximately 40 hours per week. 
    - Complimentary Fitness Center and Coral Cove Water Park membership, two Coyote Crossing Mini Golf Passes, recognition awards, and social activities.

    Days & Hours:
    - 12+ week internship (May - August).
    - Primary hours are Monday-Friday, between 9am-5pm, with occasional evening and weekend responsibilities.
    - Employees do not work more than 1,000 hours in a calendar year.

    Job Requirements:
    Kick-start your professional journey in parks and recreation with a paid summer internship at the Carol Stream Park District. This internship provides the opportunity for an energetic and motivated college student to gain a well-rounded experience in district operations. Hands-on educational experiences and exposure to many aspects of park district management will help you determine what you love most in the field of recreation. 

    Qualifications:
    - College student working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or a related field.
    - Minimum of two years of undergraduate coursework completed.
    - Strong communication and organizational skills.
    - Self-motivated with a mature, professional, and positive attitude.
    - Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
    - Must successfully pass a background check, driver’s abstract, and post-offer drug test.
    - Minimum age: 18
