Compensation and Pay: $16.00-19.00 per hour, depending on qualifications. Pay is issued by direct deposit only. Candidates must have a valid bank account registered in their name in order to receive wages. *This is an unclassified (temporary) position and not eligible for benefits.

Schedule: Flexible hours available Monday through Friday, 5-40 hours per week based on assigned program and your availability.

Season: May 26 through August 7, 2025

Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age.

Sites: Air Park Community Center, Belmont Recreation Center, Calvert Recreation Center, Auld Pavilion (Adaptive Camps), Everett Elementary School, “F” Street Community Center, Irving Recreation Center, McPhee Elementary School, Pioneers Park Nature Center (Nature Camp)

The Parks and Recreation department is FUNdamental to Lincoln.
Our team manages 168 parks, 185.9 miles of trails, 97 playgrounds, over 83,000 street trees, nine public pools, six recreation centers, five golf (and disc golf) courses, five dog runs, a nature center, and beautiful public gardens. Our programs include recreation summer day camps, before and after school programs, clubs and classes for individuals with special needs, adult and youth team sports, nature-based classes and events, swimming lessons, wellness and fitness classes for all ages, and a variety of free events and classes for all ages.
