Atlanta Hustle Marketing Internship (Spring 2026 – For Course Credit)
Position Overview The Atlanta Hustle of the Ultimate Frisbee Association (UFA) is seeking an ambitious and creative Marketing Intern for the Spring 2026 semester. This is a unique opportunity to gain extensive, hands-on experience with a professional sports franchise and play a significant, visible role in driving brand awareness, fan engagement, and community presence. Working directly with the Director of Business Operations, the Marketing Intern will assist in the planning and execution of digital campaigns, content creation, and event promotions while developing key skills in professional sports marketing and communications.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Social Media:
Assist in developing and scheduling digital content across Hustle-owned platforms; help manage paid and organic campaigns to boost engagement and ticket sales.
Content Creation:
Contribute to creative projects including graphic design, photography, and video production for web and social channels.
Email Marketing:
Support the development of fan emails, newsletters, and promotional campaigns using tools like Mailchimp, HubSpot, and Canva.
Community & Game Day Promotions:
Help activate marketing initiatives and fan engagement efforts at community events, youth programs, and home games.
Brand Support:
Maintain consistency across all communications and collaborate with internal staff to execute marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
Current college student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Sports Management, or related field (must be eligible for course credit).
Strong communication, organization, and creative skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and game days.
Self-starter with enthusiasm for professional sports and fan engagement.
Position Details
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid – remote during the week; in-person for events and games)
Term: Spring 2026 (January – May)
Compensation: Unpaid / for academic course credit
Availability: Must be available for home games and off-site promotional events (February–August)
